DB-native RBAC (Early Access)

AthenaDB includes database-native principals, roles/groups, GRANT/REVOKE, and object-level permissions — the same conceptual model on every platform.

Directory providers (Planned)

Active Directory, Entra ID, LDAP, and OS join adapters are planned. They are not current shipping claims. Until they land, do not expect Windows/AD group membership to map automatically into database roles.

Clearance lattice, labels, SoD, approvals, and break-glass policy primitives are covered at a high level in Classification.
