FAQ
Partner program FAQ
Early Access answers — the program rolls out with Account Hub; we do not claim a GA partner network yet.
How do I become an AthenaDB partner?+
Channel partners (VAR, MSP, Distributor) apply at account.athenadb.app with a Partner workspace. Cloud service providers use AthenaDB CSP Edition at /product/csp (structured inquire). Other technology partners (system integrators, product integrators / OEMs) email [email protected] during Early Access. We do not claim a GA partner network yet.
What incentives does the program offer?+
Channel: deal registration, wholesale pricing (Authorized+), NFR/demo entitlements, enablement, portfolio/fleet tools, Premier co-marketing/MDF. Technology: enablement, OEM/SDK discussion under agreement, joint architecture review — no invented revenue-share % or marketplace listing guarantees. No Stripe Connect partner payouts or white-label domains in v1.
Can I host AthenaDB as a cloud / managed offering?+
Yes — AthenaDB CSP Edition is the product path. Start at /product/csp or /partners/cloud and submit a structured inquire. There is no GA marketplace listing or white-label managed brand in v1.
Can I embed AthenaDB in my product?+
Yes — see /partners/integrator. Public surfaces include the compiled Lite SDK and C ABI docs. Amalgamation source is OEM-under-agreement only (ADR-0015), not a public download. Contact partners@ for intake.
What is the difference between an MSP and a System Integrator?+
MSPs run ongoing managed operations and typically buy wholesale for customer fleets (channel apply). System Integrators deliver project-based implementation, migration, and customization (technology intake via partners@). Some firms do both — use channel apply if you also resell/manage, and email partners@ for the SI track.
Is there a separate Studio partner program?+
No. There is one AthenaDB Partner Program. Studio is the desktop ops console partners and SIs use; channel apply and wholesale live on AthenaDB Account Hub.
Can partners white-label AthenaDB?+
Not in v1. White-label domains and Stripe Connect payouts are explicitly out of scope for the first partner release.
Where do I register a deal?+
Email [email protected] with opportunity details during Early Access. In-app deal registration is planned.
